I went on ToursByLocals on a trip to Greece to visit the island of Aegina. I was initially skeptical of ToursByLocals because I didn’t want to be scammed, but I had such a wonderful time with Sandy, my tour guide, that it cannot be overstated! I visited on Greece Independence Day, so I was able to watch a parade offered that day. Afterwards, we went on a scenic drive of all Aegina and I was able to take pictures with monuments and panoramas of the sea. The best part was the hike I did up to the top of the mountain with cliff-side monasteries! But it didn’t stop there! We went to a church where people pilgrimage to, the Temple of Aphaia, and a local pistachio shop! 10/10 recommend ToursByLocals. I even learned from Sandy that there are some toursits that exclusively use ToursByLocals because it’s not a part of a tour group, their tours can be customized, and the locals know a lot. I will definitely use ToursByLocals on my future trips, whether to Greece or elsewhere.

This was truly one of the best private tours with one of the best private guides we have ever had! Samuel was knowledgeable, whitty, funny and you could feel how genuinely proud he was of his home! He took us to several places yet we never felt overwhelmed or like we were being rushed. Samuel went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and had the best experience ever. We will not hesitate to use him again next time we are in Skagway and will recommend him to all of our family and friends!

I had never heard of Tours by Locals prior to searching for a tour in Provence in April and I’m so thankful that I stumbled upon it. Olivier was fast on response time and provided an itinerary that was perfect for our group! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, educational, flexible, funny, and (most importantly) patient and tolerant of our group of loud Americans. I absolutely recommend Olivier to anyone wanting a private tour of the best that Provence has to offer. 5 etoiles a Olivier!

Tours by Locals makes traveling a breeze! Cory was an excellent tour guide and we had the best day ever! The adventure began with Cory’s in depth and timely return emails to all of my questions. It was so helpful having someone so caring, kind, and informative before arriving to our destination. Cory was flexible and fun and he filled the day with everything from food to History to top spots on our wish list! We could not have had a better experience. I highly recommend Cory for anyone looking for a fun & educational adventure.
