Tara Costumes

My name is Tara, and I am the owner of TARA Costumes.
As a child, I was exposed to sewing, and was taught how to sew at the age of 10. My first garment was designed, cut and sewed by myself at that age. Shortly after high-school, I was certified in patternmaking and sewing. After getting my bachelor degree in business administration, I decided to move to Canada as an immigrant and peruse my passion of fashion design. I graduated in the International Academy of Design in 1999 and worked for well-known companies that make dance, gymnastic and skating costumes. I have also produced samples and whitelabeled for designers that have sold their pieces to celebrities.
