History
Established in 2006.

Julie Connolly started Carte Blanche Events officially in 2006 but has been producing events herself since 2000. In 2007 we worked on the Dalai Lama's Visit to Vancouver & The World Jewellery Conference; in 2010 Julie was the General Manager of the infamous Irish House during the Olympics; and in 2015 we won the coveted Canada's Favourite Event Planner Award with CSEME!

Business Owner

Julie Connolly has been a leader in the hospitality industry since the 1990s. In 2000 she took the leap into event management at The Commodore Ballroom. She started Carte Blanche Events in 2006 and then opened the award winning Jewel Ballroom & Catering in the South Granville area of Vancouver in 2010. That building was demolished in 2015 and Julie has focussed on producing spectacular live and virtual events ever since.
